ACLS Training & Certification
The goal of the ACLS Provider Course is to improve the quality of care provided to the adult victim of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergency.
Course Description
ACLS is based on simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as team leader. Realistic simulations reinforce the following key concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics. Certification cards are issued by the American Heart Association.
Course Prerequisites
- Proficient in BLS CPR
- Reading and interpreting EKG’s
- Understanding ACLS Drugs
- Students must obtain the “NEW ACLS Textbook with 2020 guidelines, complete the online pre-test and bring a print out or screen shot of the score to class. 2020 ACLS PRE-TEST*

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Our policy states that students who cancel their appointment greater than 48hrs prior to class will be rescheduled up to one time only at no additional charge, the student must attend another class within 30 days. A student who cancels their A.C.L.S. appointment less than 48hrs prior to their appointment will be rescheduled up to one time only, they must attend another class within 30 days. In addition, these students will also incur a $90.00 rescheduling fee. A student who no shows to their appointment will be rescheduled up to one time only within 30 days. These students will also incur a $90.00 rescheduling fee. The $90.00 fee must be received prior to rescheduling for your next appointment. Students will not be automatically rescheduled by Eclipse CPR, it is the students responsibility to attend another class within 30 days. Students will forfeit their original fee if they do not attend another class within 30 days. If students cancel a second time for a rescheduled class regardless of the reason or time frame when they cancel, they will pay an $90.00 fee. Eclipse CPR Training LLC advises students to reschedule as soon as possible as we cannot guarantee seat availability in future courses. There are no refunds for any reason.
I need my ACLS Certification immediately!
If you need your A.C.L.S. Certification immediately, you can complete Part I of your A.C.L.S. program online at: www.onlineaha.org. After completing part I you need to make an
appointment at our office to complete Part II which is a brief skills demonstration to receive your A.C.L.S. certification. The cost for the private skills demonstration at our office is $125.00. There is an online fee of $151.00 paid to the American Heart Association. (Prices subject to change). Please ask our scheduling department about this option if you need your A.C.L.S. certification immediately.
